Navas Dedicates Europa League Trophy To Late Perta and Reyes

Sevilla right back Jesus Navas has dedicated the club's 6th UEFA Europe league trophy to old friends Antonio Puerta and Jose Reyes.
Navas who returned to Seville after a stint in England with Manchester City has been a mainstay the sevilla team playing from defence. He was a key member of the sevilla side that be Manchester United in the semifinals stage and went of o defeat Inter Milan in the final of the Europa league. After the win the Spaniard could not help but remember his close friends who are late: "To raise this cup as captain of my Sevilla means so much. For friends who are no longer here - for Puerta, for Reyes, and for my godfather who has died." Antonio Puerta died in 2007 after a cardiac arrest that resulting in him collapsing twice on the pitch and again in the dressing room. He was eventually taken to the hospital where he later died at the age of 22.
Reyes on the other hand, died last year in a car accident.
