Manchester United Centre Back Harry Maguire is set to be tried in court today following his recent arrest.
Recall that he was arrested during his holiday in Greece following their 2-1 Europa League exit at the semifinals stage. He was arrested alongside two others and the Greece police said their offences includes "violence against officials, disobedience, bodily harm, insult and attempted bribery of an official". It is not yet very clear which one of these charges Maguire will or will not face but Manchester United confirmed the confirmed the incident in a club statement: "The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night, Contact has been made with Harry, and he is fully co-operating with the Greek authorities. At this time we will be making no further comment." He was subsequently released on Saturday and his trial will start today. The world's most expensive defender joined the club in an £80m transfer last summer and played every single premier league minute this season.
He was also made captain by Ole Gunner Solskjaer following the departure of Ashley Young.
