Manchester city set to complete Nathan Are signing for 41m pounds deal

Four time premier league champions Manchester City Have had a £41m bid accepted by Relegated Bournemouth for the Dutch International.

The Deal will see the the Dutchman Join Pep Guardola's men for Initial £40m that could potentially increase to £41m if conditions for add - ons are met. Bournemouth were relegated from the premier league on the last day of the premier league despite defeating Everton 3-1 i n their last premier league match of the 2019/20 season. Goals from Dominic Solanke, Junior Stanislas and Andy King ensured that Edie Howe's men walk away with all three points at the Goodison Park. But the win would be of no use as Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish scored to secure a 1-1 draw against Westham ending Bournemouth's 5 year stay in the premier league.

Ake joins City who finished second in the premier league - behind winners Liverpool - as Pep Guardola attempts to take back the premier league title next season. He will become the first signing of the Citizens Come the summer Transfer window. Nathan Ake who was born on 18 February 1995 started his Career at the Academy of Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag. He moved to the Dutch club Feyenoord at the age of 12 and subsequently moved to England when he was 15 joining premier league side Chelsea. He made his Premier League debut on 26 December 2012 coming as a substitute for Spanish international Juan Mata in a 1-0 over Norwich City who were this season relegated to the Championships. After a series of loans that saw him play for Reading and Watford, Ake joined AFC Bournemouth on loan in June 2016. The following season he joined the Cherries of a £20m deal from Chelsea and has since been a regular in Eddie Howe's Bournemouth side. This season, the 25 year old has made 30 first team appearances - scoring 2 goals and recording a further 2 assists. This move will afford the Versatile defender who plays primarily as a Centre Back another opportunity to stake a claim for a place in the team of one of Europe's top clubs having failed to do that at Chelsea earlier in his career.
