Arsenal defeated Liverpool 5-4 on penalties to win their 15th Football Association's community shield trophy.
The gunners took an early lead via Aubameyang but Minamino eqaulized for Liverpool in the second half to send the game to penalties.
Liverpool substitute Ryan Brewster missed the decisive 5th penalty to allow Aubameyang score and win it for the gunners.
This win means that Arsenal manger Mikel Arteta has won all the finals he has competed in. He won the FA cup by defeating Frank lampard's Chelsea.
It also means that they are now one Shield ahead of Liverpool who have 14. They will have to do more to match Manchester United who are on 21 Community shield trophies.
