Juventus President Rubishes Ronaldo Exit Talks

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli has rubbished claims that super star signing Christiano Ronaldo will be leaving the club this season after a disappointing exit from the UEFA Champions league.
The Serie Champions list to French side Lyon on the away goal rule after a 2-2 aggregate scoreline. They had lost the first leg 1-0. But Ronaldo scored a penalty and stunner after Depay's penalty put Lyon ahead to give the Italians hope.
But they could not find the all important third goal exiting the competition in the the Round of 16. Following the match, there were already talks that Ronaldo was dissatisfied and would push for an exit in the summer transfer window. But Agnelli has now denied those claims in an interview with Skysports: "He's going to stay with us, I'm sure that Cristiano will play for Juventus next season. He's a pillar of this team." On 10 July 2018, the Portuguese superstar joined Juventus for a fee that could potentially rise to €112m. He scored thirty seven goals and provided a further seven assists for Juventus in all competitions this season across forty five appearances. Juventus will now take a break before they step up preparation to defend their Serie A title in the 2020/21 season and have a go at the champions league title again
