Manchester united defender Harry Maguire has now broken his silence following the controversy surrounding his arrest and trial.
The defender who joined Manchester United was arrested alongside two others in Greece a few weeks ago.
He was subsequently charged to court and given a suspended sentence of 21 months and 10 days.
This controversy has lead to him loosing his place in Gareth Southgate's England squad.
Speaking after a long time of silence the defender explained that he tried to run away with a hand cuff because he could not reorganize who the men were and thought he was being kidnapped.
He also stated that he didn't feel like he should apologize:
"I don't feel I owe an apology to anybody.
"An apology is something when you have done something wrong."
His legal team has appealed and it is left to be Seen if his sentence will be overturned.
