Beware of Scammers:NACA Speaks On Viral Mass Recruitment Notice

The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has told members of the public that the viral adverts on mass recruitments at the organization currently trending did not originate from it. The Director-General, of the Agency, Dr. Gambo Aliyu who gave the refutal, warned Nigerians to be careful so as not to fall victim of job fraudsters. Aliyu in the statement made available to newsmen warned that the agency is not carrying out any mass recruitment exercise and urged members of the public to disregard the advertisement of mass recruitment in the establishment. The Director-General said: “We bring to the notice of the general public that the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) is not mass recruiting. “It has come to our attention that numerous job offers are being circulated by unauthorized persons using the name of the Agency to solicit for job applications and some requiring applicants to pay processing fees. “NACA posts employment opportunities on its official website and has not engaged the services of a recruitment agent. It is the responsibility of job seekers to research and verify information pertaining to job postings.” Aliyu added that the agency would not charge any fee from job seekers during its recruitment process, noting that NACA will not be held liable for anyone who goes ahead to transact business with the fraudsters. “NACA would not accept any liability towards the representation made in any fraudulent communication or its consequences, and such fraudulent communication shall not be treated as any kind of offer or representation by NACA,” he added.
