OPTIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE MADE FROM PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF COASE AGGREGATE USING CASHED COW BONE
ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION
The production of crushed stones is expensive and its heavy usage contributes to the depletion of these non-replaceable natural resources thereby raising serious environmental concerns (OSPAR. 004). This project research entails the use of crushed cow bone which is considered to be a waste material in abettors. In Nigeria, about 5million tones of cow bone is yielded yearly with no effective method of disposal other than burning and dumping (Falade et al, 2011). Hence, the use of crushed cow bone in concrete makes it an innovative procedure of obtain free waste material that is both damaging and dangerous to humans and a serious environmental issues. Percentage use in actualizing these are 5,10,20 % replacement water ratio content 0.5 and mix ratio 1:2:4.
