LANDSCAPING USING INTERLOCKING BLOCKS
ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION
The project work had to do with landscaping using interlocking blocks. The construction of the interlocking block were done using sand and cement. It was allowed to cure before placing the filling of the sub-grade, sub-base was leveled and allowed to consdidate before the interlocking blocks were placed on the surface. In order to overcome or minimize the difficulties in carrying out interlocking landscape project, it is recommended that adequate infrastructure should be provided for the landscaping project work, the mix ratio 1:2 should be followed to obtain good result in the casting of the interlocking blocks and cement paste should be added to have good finishing of the surface, and periodic maintenance should be carried out on the interlocked surface to remove broken blocks, refill any space where depression is experienced and removal of growing grasses.
