ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION


This project is to examine the effect on fringe benefit on the moral and performance of staffs emphasizing on Nigeria Bottling Company, Ughelli Depot as a case study. Fringe benefit is the basic issue pointed out in the aspect of work in this research. And it raised some research questions and established some assumption i.e. internal control measures were established through the administration questionnaires and personal interviews and the responses were to test the reasonableness of these assumptions in order to raise recommendations. However, it was discovered that although management cannot provide for all levels of fringe benefits because of some other variables that influence the working environment e.g. community and family pressure. It was observed that a greater part of management task is to get things done through employees. Therefore results should that employees in Nigerian Bottling Company Ughelli Depot were adequately compensated to source the best out of them, thereby increasing productivity which in turn increase profits of the organisation. Consequently to the finding, recommendations were raised on how to improve the productivity of employees (staffs). Also, it was pointed out that fringe benefits have contributed greatly to staffs work performance and challenges, hence further attention should be given to fringe benefit in order to increase productivity.
