PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT OF NIGERIA(A CASE STUDY OF ABUJA HEAD AIRPORT EXPRESSWAY)

This project focuses on the project management assessment of the construction of the Abuja airport expressway. This project describes what project management is all about in construction.It shows the physical features, geometric features, pavement structures and managerial aspect of a road construction. Furthermore, the pavement structure and machineries and equipment used in road construction were shown in details in addition to all the various stages and activities to be carried out in construction of road. The application of bar chart was employed as a project management technique to compute the total number of days in the construction of the road. Effort was made to conclude and make recommendations on how the method can be put into practice in our construction industries.
