REINFORCED CONCRETE DESIGN/ANALYSIS AND PREPARATION OF BENDING SCHEDULE/MATERIAL QUANTITY OF A TWO STOREY HOSPITAL BUILDING
ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION
This project work is about the analysis and design of a two storey hospital building. A modern design Philosophy (The Limit Sate Approach) was used and reference wer made from B58110 and other design manual (Reinforced Concrete designs handbook by Reynoid and Steelman). It is of great importance to the structural engineer to design a two storey building to very highly creative standard that must be carried out responsibly in order to produce safe and durable structure. This is the general introduction of five chapters. Chapter one deals with the general introduction of the work, chapter two offers the literature review, chapter three provides the method of analysis and design and also production of design of different structural element, chapter four handles the bar bending schedule, materials quantity and bill of engineering measurement while chapter five deals with the summary, conclusion, recommendation and the limitation to the study. I check for deflection and punching in order to reassure that the structure were in order.
