MOTIVATION OF EMPLOYEE AND THEIR JOB PERFORMANCE IN PUBLIC SECTOR ORGANIZATION(A STUDY OF NDOKWA WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT SECRETARIAL KWALE)

The research work examined strategies for motivation of employee and their job performance in public sector organization in Ndokwa west local government secretariat, kwale, delta state. To ensure critical study of this research related literature were reviewed and data collected through the use of questionnaire. The questionnaire were personally administered and answered by the respondents to ensure effective data collection. The items of the questionnaire were based on the research questions and information form data on the literature reviewed. Discoveries revealed that employees improve their performance when been rewarded, this means, they achieve better result to workers (both literate and illiterate) though, high pay, training and development, participation, good allowance and fringe benefits comprising of housing and transport allowance increase workers performance.
