This study examines the effect of motivation on organizational performance. A study of General Hospital Ozoro, Delta State. The main objective of the study was to determine if motivation have any direct effect on organizational performance. The major instrument used in data gathering for the study is questionnaire. The population of the study comprises of the employees of general hospital Ozoro, and a sample size of 50 respondents was used for the study. The sampling techniques employed was the Random Sampling Technique while the formulated hypothesis were tested using regression statistical tools. The findings from the study revealed that the rate at which employees are motivated affects performance of the organization therefore it is recommended that management should focus more on employee morale as it poses a positive or negative effect on organizational performance.
