DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC, OZORO)

In this study, we proposed an online learning management system. Online learning is when you take courses online instead of in a physical classroom. If your schedule makes it hard to attend classes, if you prefer studying at your own pace or if you live far from campus, online learning might be for you. In addition, online learning is a flexible instructional delivery system that encompasses any kind of learning that takes place via the Internet. Online learning gives educators an opportunity to reach students who may not be able to enroll in a traditional classroom course and supports students who need to work on their own schedule and at their own pace. The system was tested with live data and the result proved to be effective and reliable compare to the existing system. The research methodology adopted for the system design is agile.
