CONSTRAINTS AND PROSPECTS OF FRINGE BENEFITS AS IT ENHANCES WORKERS PRODUCTIVITY(A STUDY OF DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC, OZORO)

This research work examines the constraints and prospects of fringe benefits as it enhance workers productivity in Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro. The basic issue addressed in this research is the application of fringe benefit to workers productivity It raised some research questions and answers were gotten through questionnaires that were administered. The answers gotten were put to test in other to raise recommendation. However, it was discovered that although management cannot provide for all level of fringe benefits because of some variables that influence the working environment. Result shows that employees in Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro were adequately compensated thereby increasing productivity which in turn increase profit of the organization. Consequent to the findings, recommendations were raised on how to improve the productivity of employees. also, it was pointed out that fringe benefits have contributed greatly to staff work performance and hence, further attention should be given to fringe benefits in order to increase productivity.
