COMPUTER APPROACH FOR DATA INTRUSION AND SECURITY IN DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC OZORO

Computers have become an essential component of our daily lives. The World Wide Web has transformed the world into a global village. Everyday there are millions of transactions on the Internet. A great amount of information and data is shared by the World Wide Web users all over the world. The objective of study is to examine computer approach for data intrusion and security. The system was implemented on an online learning management system to monitor users’ activities. The system was developed using ASP.Net technology, Visual Basic.Net programming language, CSS along side with some DLL files. Microsoft SQL Server was used for the backend development. It was concluded that intrusion detection system are very important in order to detect malicious activities before they can cause drastic harm.
