Computer Memory
The term Computer Memory refers to a storage space in a computer device used for storing data and instructions needed to process the data stored.
The computer memory is divided divided into large number of locations or cells and these cells or locations are also known as small parts.
Each of these locations or cells has unique address that varies from zero to memory size minus one.
Let's take for instance; if a computer is given 32k words to process, its memory unit will be 32 * 1024 = 32768. Therefore, it has 32768 memory locations and the address of this memory locations varies from 0 to 32768.
Types of Computer Memory
There are three (3) types of computer memory which are cache memory, main memory and secondary memory.
