2. Islamic Religion In Nigeria

As we all know that the Islamic religion is majorly practiced byn the Northerners and it is being practiced nation wide covering about 50% of Nigeria's populace. It is made up of;

  • Mahdiyya

3. Traditional Religion In Nigeria

Nigerians believe in spirits, magic, supreme powers, one super god etc. They practice various rituals, believe in symbols, organize festivals, and retell myths and as such, they follow the moral and ethical rules of traditional beliefs. This tradition started long before the introduction of Christianity and Islam. It will interest you to know that those who claim to be practicing the two major religions (Christianity and Islam) still practice the traditional religion.
