Located in Alesa Eleme, Rivers State, the Port Harcourt Refinery Complex is one of the largest refineries in Nigeria. It comprises two refineries, namely the old Port Harcourt Refinery with a capacity of 60,000 barrels per day (bpd) and the new Port Harcourt Refinery with a capacity of 150,000 bpd.
Situated in Kaduna State, the Kaduna Refinery has a capacity of 110,000 bpd. It was commissioned in 1980 and primarily produces various petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Located in Warri, Delta State, the Warri Refinery has a capacity of 125,000 bpd. It was commissioned in 1978 and underwent several upgrades over the years to increase its operational efficiency. The refinery produces gasoline, diesel, kerosene, aviation fuel, and other petroleum by-products.
Operated by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), the Bonga FPSO Facility is an offshore oil production and processing facility. The facility has a capacity to produce 225,000 bpd of oil and 150 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
Although not strictly an oil refinery, the Brass LNG Plant is a major liquefied natural gas processing facility located in Brass Island, Bayelsa State. The plant has a capacity of 10 million metric tonnes per annum and processes natural gas from various sources, including oil fields and associated gas.
Similar to Brass LNG, the Olokola LNG Plant is also a natural gas processing facility that produces liquefied natural gas. It is located in Ogun State, near the border between Lagos and Ondo States.
