THE IMPACT OF EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ON ORGANISTIONAL PERFORMANCE(A STUDY OF NIGERIA AGIP OIL COMPANY LTD WARRI)

This study focuses on the importance of training and development to organization performance. The method adopted in collecting data was both primary and secondary data. The result of the data analysis indicates that training and development seem a mean of improving job performance of the employee to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of organization to grow and succeed in the highly competitive business environment they must embark on regular manpower development programmers, they not only increase job performance, but also reduces cost and enhances employee’s movable in his/her work place. Finally, it is recommended that organization should provide reasonable amount of resources to their training and development
