THE IMPACT OF CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT(A CASE STUDY OF SAPELE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA DELTA STATE)

This Study deals with the Impact of CO – Operative Societies on local Communities development using sapele local government are of data State as a case Study the role of Co – operative cities have seen a subject of controversy to the problem of management of such societies specially in local communities Data was collected using the questionnaire and oral interview for which simple frequency table and the chi square statistic were used to analysis it was fund over that there was a signify cant relationship between the operation of Co –operative societies and the local community development it was recommended that leadership of Co-operative be trained to ensure that such communities benefit from the societies.
