THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT ON THE DELTA STATE ECONOMY(A case study of Ethiope East)

Unemployment is a social problem all over the world. Nigeria being a developing nation must therefore experience the adverse affects of this social malady affected in delta state. The aim of his write up is solely to identify the causes of unemployment in delta state Nigeria. The work is also intended to make some useful suggestion towards the reduction of final solution of the problem. The study started with introduction which cleared ground for the work. It accepted to define unemployment as the general effects on different parts of the world and a brief history of unemployment in delta state Nigeria was pointed out at follows, politics, the altitude of employees of labour pride, advancement in technology, the minimum wage and deficiency of aggregate demand.
