SILVER NANOPARTICLES OF MANNGIFERA INDICA

This study investigated silver nanoparticles of Mangifera indica (mango leaf). Silver nanoparticle is a product of a rapidly growing technology, it is widely applied in many fields including medical, food, health care and industrial purpose, due to their unique physical and chemical properties. Unfortunately, the silver nanoparticle may cause mild eyes and skin irritations, it can also act as a mild skin allergen. The concentration of silver nitrate were determined using UV-visible spectrophotometer at varying wavelength. The first indication of the formation AgNPs is the used colour change in the reaction. Maximum absorption was recorded at 4800nm wavelength.
