IMPACT OF EFFECTIVE RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS IN ENHANCING THE GROWTH OF SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE BUSINESS ENTERPRISES(A STUDY OF SUMMIT FURNITURE, ASABA, DELTA STATE)

This research was carried out and designed to examine the Impact of Effective Recruitment and Selection Process in Enhancing the Growth of Small and Medium Scale Business Enterprises in Delta State. The purpose of this study is to highlight the role of recruitment and selection process play in the growth and development of small and medium scale enterprises [SMES] in Delta State. The various procedures and instrument used in this study were questionnaire, oral interviews, and the researcher’s personal observation. It is a descriptive survey designed no collected relevant data for the study using user scale point to analyze and collect data using person product movement correlation analysis and the test for the hypothesis was done using the chi square as a statistical tool. The findings among others revealed that the relationship between recruitment and selection process and management organizational growth and development. The study recommended among others that adequate manpower planning should be carried out before considering the effects of recruitment selection process.
