ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION
This project work is on the Design and Implementation of Portable and Reliable Fingerprint Based Student Attendance System that can be used to take attendance of student in real time. It will eliminate the problems of manual method. The new system utilizes UareU 4500 portable device fingerprint scanner as the input to acquire fingerprint raw data that will be converted to images. Visual Basic.Net, Fingerprint SDK was used for the frontend design while Relational Database Management System was used for the backend design.
