Potash is the name used for various mined and manufactured salts that contain potassium in water-soluble form. The name derives from pot ash, which refers to plant ashes or wood ash soaked in water in a pot, the primary means of manufacturing the product before the Industrial Era. The word potassium is derived from potash. Conclusively, considering what have learnt so far, even though potash has some benefits in the kitchen and also to human health. It does not do the body a lot of good and is worth avoiding totally if you can. The health effects of potash are possibly very harmful, so they should be used with caution.
