WEB DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE VEHICLE LICENSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The study aimed at web design and implementation of online vehicle license management system. The current system programmatically is built into various modules and classes which sums up the advantage of Object Oriented Programming (OOP). The existing classes and modules will run on a new interface developed using a HTML and CSS, JavaScript and its associated libraries. The findings of the study revealed that the manner of operation will change drastically, positively influencing speed and external dependency on the centralized database hosted system.. Based on the findings of the study relevant recommendations were made that this is an extensive feature meant for use by the external authorities like the Nigerian Police, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and VIO amongst others. The main function is to accept a vehicle registration number, license code or owner name and do a quick look up on the owner, the vehicle or status of the license. This is a measure to save time of both the stated authority and the road user. Also in cases of stolen vehicles, this will be of great help.
