This study was conducted to determine and investigate the role of small scale business in Nigeria Enterprise in Ughelli North, Delta State, a small scale business organization in private sector of the state economy was selected and questionnaires were administered to the staff. Research questions were cited and the questionnaire was designed to answer the research questions in order to achieve the purpose of the study, the study was made up of five chapters, chapter one and contain the introduction of the study, historical background, statement of problem, purpose of the study, research questions, research significance of the study, scope of the study, limitation of the study, assumption and definition of terms used. Chapter two, which is the review of related literature, embodies pertinent to the research theme, chapter three contains method used in carrying out study which include design of the study, areas of the study, population, samples and sampling procedures, instrument, method of data collection, and method of data analysis. Chapter four embodies the result of findings and they are presented in tables. The last which I chapter five contains the summary, recommendation and conclusion of the findings.
The problem leading to the conduct of the researches are the reducing rate of the small scale business due too lack of interest of government are not pleasing despite the help given by government the best way to improve small scale business needs a new approach recommend that Nigeria business needs a new approach to organizing and managing available resources, and their problem should be managed by an entrepreneur which entrepreneurial trail to enable business function properly.
