THE PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN NIGERIA(A CASE STUDY OF ETHIOPE WEST LGA)

This project work is focus on unemployment in Nigeria, causes and possible solution. Ethiope west local government area was taken as case study. Unemployment has over the years been socio economic problem in Nigeria whereby government has tried to find remedy and lasting solutions to the problems of employment in Nigeria. However, the researcher after a careful study of the population through personal interview conducted as well was able to identify the causes and possible solution to the problems of unemployment in Nigeria. This studies area was zoned into two town’s unskilled workers, students and the unemployed adults. While sample frame was adopted since the population comprise of different groups of people. Data collected were also analyzed using test and sample percentage. Finally, the conclusion chapter shows: summary, conclusion and recommendation to the problems of unemployment in Nigeria, most especially in Ehtiope West Local Government Area of Delta State – Nigeria.
