THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL DISTRESS IN BANK ON SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE BUSINESS (A STUDY OF SELECTED SME’S IN ISOKO NORTH LGA)

The major purpose of this study was to know understand and evaluate the impact of financial distress in banks on small and medium scale business of Nigeria. The design for the study was an opinion survey. The population consisted of shareholders, directors, management and staff customers, percentage, frequency distribution and standard deviation were use to analyze the four (4) Research question. The major finding of the study were that financial distress in bank lead to the slow down and inadequate capital in order for fostering of small and medium scale business of Nigeria and global world as a whole was not sufficient reliable and able to increase the production and enhance the profitability of small and medium scale business of Nigeria and the global world.
