THE IMPACT OF EMPLOYEES’ MOTIVATION IN ENHANCING ORGANIZATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY (A CASE STUDY OF ETERNIT COMPANY LTD, SAPELE)

The study centred on the impact of motivation of workers for higher productivity in Eternit Company Ltd. The data collected for the study was analysed using suitable statistical method and the result obtained were presented in a manner that would foster clarity of presentation regarding the motivation of workers for higher productivity. In chapter one, a great deal of attention was paid to establishing the rational for the study, by way of a statement of research problem and highlighting the significance of the research data. In the second chapter, a review of various literature on the subject matter was undertaken while the third chapter attempted a detailed explanation of the methodology, the fourth chapter dealt with the type of data used and the presentation of research data, as well as data analysis. it was also found out that workers in the organization are not properly motivated for higher productivity and researcher recommended that training and development in the organization should be given more attention by managers of workplace and they should also pay attention to promotion of workers in the organization. These were dealt with in the last chapter.
