STATISTICAL ANALYSIS ON INCREASE OF MAJOR FOOD-ITEMS IN NIGERIA (A CASE STUDY OF KWALE MARKET)

ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION

In this project statistical analysis on the prices of major food items is carried out to know the charges on prices of products in the market from 2014-2021. Data from a primary source were generated from prices of product in Kwale Market for one year. Index number was use as a focus topic and weighted aggregate approach index was used to analyzed the data collected. The result of the analysis shows the increase or decrease in prices and cost of major food items.
