Over the years, there is evidence that small-scale businesses have been on the increased. This is because more people are being educated and the fact that government can no longer employ most school leavers, another reason is that with economic programmers such as open apprenticeship scheme, graduate employment programmed, poverty alleviation programmed etc. To encourage individuals to go into private business and be self-reliance never lustrated. However most of the businesses find it difficult to survive in the first fire years of its stabs manta. When we compare small scale businesses development in Nigeria with other countries like America, Japan, champ, twain etc, most of these countries big businesses started form the scratch as small scale businesses and their owners rinsed them into big businesses through handwork.
