PREPARATION OF LAUNDRY SOAP FROM USED COOKING OIL IN OZORO, DELTA STATE

Used cooking oil (UCO) is a good candidate as a material to produce soap, typically cheaper than other oils. The cleaning action and physiochemical properties were evaluated, the pH values of the prepared soap used in the soap study. The study aim to describe the utilization of waste frying oil originated mainly from household, restaurant are used in home-made soap production, and production of soap can be considered as one of the possible ways towards reduction of waste oil disposal.
