DESIGNED AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ANDROID BASED PRODUCTS (FOODS AND DRUGS) AUTHENTICATION ALERT SYSTEM

The research focused on the designed and implementation of android based products (foods and drugs) authentication alert system and NAFDAC was used as the case study. Foods and drugs authenticating system is an automated authenticating system which authenticate the genuineness of a food or drug to avoid the intake of toxic and health deteriorating substances. This system does not do the testing as in the case of expert systems but this system assigned a unique code to every genuine and safe food or drugs in accordance to the batch of production or manufacturing. The research was achieved through the adoption of Rapid Application Development methodology. RAD model is an incremental software process model that emphasis a short development cycle of 60-90 days. Its approach to software development put less emphasis on planning and more emphasis on process. It is especially well suited for (although not limited to) developing software that is drive by user interface.
