DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AND ANDROID BASED INTERACTIVE SECURITY PLATFORM FOR CRIME CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT (A CASE STUDY OF DELTA STATE VIGILANTE GROUP, OZORO)

The aim of this research work is to design and implement an android based interactive security platform for crime control and management. The problems encountered in this area of research are lack of security data processing and information system for effective storage and retrieval of crime information, inefficient system of platform for sharing data or information amongst stakeholders. The system was developed using ASP.Net, Visual Basic.Net, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) and JavaScript for its implementation. This is the given solution to handle this problem by transforming the existing manual information system into an automated form and overcoming the existing problems of insecurity and delay in security data processing.
