DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ONLINE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS AND CONSULTANCY SYSTEM

This research work is centered on Design and Implementation of an Online Medical Diagnosis and Consultancy System using Delta State Hospital Management Board as case study. the research work will monitor the daily records of patients that visited the hospital. In this research work, there will be a centralized database for all the hospitals i.e hospital A can access any patient details that registered in hospital B. There will be security to monitor the access that each of the staffs can gain based on the position of the staff in the hospital. The system will also be able to prescribe drugs to patients based on the kind of sickness selected by the user. The tools used for this research work are ASP.Net and VB.Net (Frontend) and Microsoft Access 2003 (Backend). ASP.Net and VB.Net were chosen for this research work because of its interactive and easy understanding interface while Microsoft Access 2003 was used as the system backend which makes the proposed system to achieve records storing. The research methodology used for this research work is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
