DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ONLINE CAR PARKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Many drivers are concerned with finding an empty parking space in a metropolitan area on a regular basis because it is time consuming. Owing to the relentless cruising of vehicles for an accessible parking space, it often results in increased traffic congestion and air pollution. Therefore, this research work is focused on the Design and Implementation of an Online Car Park Management System. The system was developed using ASP.Net technology, JavaScript, CSS and Csharp for frontend design. While Microsoft SQL Server 2012 was used for the backend design. The research methodology adopted for the system design is Rapid Application Development (RAD). It was recommended that customers of such services should be educated on how to use the newly developed platform.
