The amount of traffic on web based social networks is very difficult to predict. In order to avoid wasting resources during low traffic periods or being overloaded during peak periods, it would be interesting to adapt the amount of resources dedicated to the service. This work is centered on design and implementation of social media platform with hack proof functionalities. The first goal is to make the performance scales with the number of machines dedicated to it. During testing of the software, the researcher studied the behavior of application using the local running on windows 7 operating system. ASP.Net along side with Visual Basic.Net was used for the frontend design, while the backend design was achieved using Microsoft Access Database. The research methodology used for the system design is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
