DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A VOICE NOTE-TAKING SYSTEM

Technology is being developed at an amazing fast pace in the world today and has created many opportunities for its user. Students with disability are some of the users group benefiting from the opportunities provided by this technology explosion. Technology, in particular, assistive technology, can provide many possibilities for students with disabilities to experience opportunities which had previously been non-existent or, at best, limited to them. Therefore, the proposed study is tailored at the provision of an advanced application that will help users in taking live notes through the use of speech recognition. The system is developed using Visual Basic.Net and ASP.Net. The research methodology used for the system’s design is Rapid Application Development (RAD).
