DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MULTILINGUAL TRANSLATION SYSTEM FOR LEARNING OF LANGUAGES USING ENGLISH, IBO AND FRENCH LANGUAGES

This research work entitled Design and Implementation of Multilingual Language Translation System for Leaning of Languages using English, Ibo and French Languages was carried out to design and automated a system that will help in translating Ibo and French languages to English language for easy learning. The system is designed to help those that love to learn other languages. The programming language that was used for this work is Visual Basic.Net as the front end tool, while Microsoft Access was used as backend tool. The research methodology used is Rapid Application Development (RAD). This methodology was chosen because it enables and encourages speedy system development construct collaborations with the proposed system users. The system backend contains over one hundred (100) words in the two languages which could be translated to English during learning. The system does not only translate single words but can also translate a whole sentence to its English equivalence.
