COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF QUEUING MODEL AT THE ATM BETWEEN FIRST BANK PLC AND UNITY BANK PLC, OZORO

This research work was carried out with the aim to compare two queuing model, data of two banks ATM First Bank Plc and Unity Bank Plc all located in Ozoro, Isoko North L.G.A was done through observation method. A sample of one ATM was chosen from each bank in order to know the average service time of both banks. Results shows from the data collected that the service time of the population of both banks were 21.09 for First Bank and 27.94 for Unity Bank and the arrival rate per hour is 2.01 for First Bank and 1.90 for Unity Bank, while the average waiting time for both banks is 1.71 for First Bank and 7.7 for Unity Bank ATM and therefore we recommend that First Bank should improve on their service rate.
