ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION

In this project statistical analysis on the prices of major food stuffs and other selected commodities is carried out to know the charges on prices of products in the market from 2015-2016. Data from a primary source were generated from prices of product in Uselu Market for one year. Index number was use as a focus topic and weighted aggregate approach index was used to analyzed the data collected. The result of the analysis shows the increase or decrease in prices and cost of major food stuffs and other selected commodities. On each of the months for the one year from August 2015 to July 2016
