##Admission Requirements
If you’re thinking of studying at UNIMAID, here are the key things you’ll typically need:

You must select UNIMAID as your first choice in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) when doing your UTME. 

You’ll need a good UTME score (see section on cut-off marks below).

You must have at least 5 credit passes in your O’Level examination (WAEC, NECO or equivalent) in no more than two sittings. English Language and, depending on your course, other relevant subjects (such as Mathematics, Physics, Biology) are required. 

For Direct Entry applicants: You’ll need appropriate prior qualifications (ND, HND, NCE etc) with required grades, plus the O’Level credits. 

Be prepared to take the university screening / Post-UTME exercise once you’re eligible. 

In short: meet your O’Level requirements, aim for a strong UTME score, choose UNIMAID first, and clear the screening stage.

##Tuition & Fees
Money matters are real — here’s what you may expect to pay at UNIMAID (approximate figures; always check the latest official info).

Some sources estimate that for the 2025/2026 session, fresh students in faculties like Arts & Education might pay around ?33,000-?37,000, science around ?36,000-?39,000, engineering somewhat higher, and health/medicine highest. 

For example: one breakdown shows Medicine & Health Sciences new students ~?44,000-?48,000 in one estimate. 

Additional fees: acceptance fee (~?10,000) for new students. 

Note: There are conflicting numbers depending on source (some list much higher fees for certain programmes) — always confirm with the university’s official announcements. 

Bottom line: Compared to many universities, UNIMAID’s fees are moderate, but you should budget for the full cost (tuition + acceptance + other charges) and verify for your faculty and year.

##Cut-Off Marks
Here’s what UNIMAID has set (or what sources report) for cut-off marks for 2025/2026.

The general JAMB minimum/eligibility cut-off for many courses is around 140-160. For example, several sources say “140” for general courses. 

For more competitive programmes (Medicine, Surgery, Dentistry, etc.), the required score is much higher. For instance:

Medicine & Surgery: Merit category ~260 for 2025/2026. 

Dentistry / Dental Surgery: 250 in some reports.

Important: Even if you hit the cut-off, admission is not guaranteed. The department capacity, competition, screening and your overall performance matter too.
