##Chancellor
The Chancellor of Obong University is Barrister Peter S. Egure (OON, MNI). A distinguished alumnus of the University of Lagos with a background in History and Law, Egure has had an illustrious career in national security and public administration, holding key roles such as State Director of Security, Director of Intelligence and Training at Nigeria’s Department of State Services, and Director of Ecological Fund under the Presidency. Decorated with the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) and an alumnus of NIPSS, he brings seasoned leadership, strategic vision, and moral authority to the university’s governance .

Leadership of academic affairs rests with Professor Udoudo Moses Ekanemesang, a renowned biochemist specializing in enzymology, molecular biology, and protein chemistry. He holds a B.Sc. from Abilene Christian University, an M.Sc. from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, complemented by an MPH from Mercer University.
