##POLAC UTME and Direct Entry Admission Requirements
If you are planning to gain admission into the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) for the 2025/2026 academic session, it is important to know the admission requirements. Below are the detailed requirements for both categories:
##UTME Admission Requirements
Candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings.
Candidates must have written the JAMB UTME and obtained the required cut-off mark for their chosen course. (Check the table above)
POLAC must be selected as the first-choice institution in JAMB.
Applicants must be between 17 and 22 years old at the time of application.
Candidates must be physically and medically fit, as the academy conducts rigorous training.
##Height Requirements:-
Male applicants must be at least 1.67 meters (5ft 6inches) tall.
Female applicants must be at least 1.64 meters (5ft 4inches) tall.
Male applicants must have a minimum chest measurement of 34 inches (not applicable to females).
Shortlisted candidates must pass the POLAC screening exercise, which includes a written test, medical examination, and physical fitness assessment.
##Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND), NCE, IJMB, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit or Merit.
Candidates must have five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Applicants must obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form and choose POLAC as their first-choice institution.
Direct Entry candidates must also be between 17 and 22 years old at the time of application.
All applicants must meet the physical and medical fitness standards required by the institution.
Screening Exercise: Direct Entry candidates will also undergo a screening process, which includes interviews, medical tests, and physical fitness assessments.
##POLAC School Fees 2024
Bachelor’s degree: ?150,000 – ?200,000 per semester
Diploma: ?100,000 – ?150,000 per semester
Postgraduate: ?250,000 – ?300,000 per semester
