##Admission Requirements To qualify for admission into the Department of Military Science, candidates must meet the following criteria: Academic Qualifications: Applicants must possess five credit passes in not more than two sittings (SSCE or NECO). Required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, along with one additional relevant subject such as Biology, Geography, Technical Drawing, Computer Science, or Further Mathematics. ##JAMB Requirement: Candidates must obtain a minimum score of 180 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination (JAMB), or any higher cut-off mark as may be set by the Academy. ##Age and Fitness: Applicants must be physically fit, mentally stable, and morally upright, and must be between 16 and 21 years old. Selection Board Screening: Candidates who pass the NDA Entrance Examination must present themselves before the Armed Forces Selection Board for medical and physical evaluations. ##NDA JAMB Cut-Off Mark for 2025/2026 Based on current trends, the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) is expected to maintain similar JAMB cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session, in line with patterns from previous years and guidelines from JAMB. ##General Cut-Off Marks Faculties of Arts & Social Sciences, Science, Military Science, and Interdisciplinary Studies: 180 (Includes programs such as Computer Science, Accounting, Political Science, and Defence Studies.) Faculty of Engineering: 210 (Covers courses like Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.) Note: Individual departments may set higher cut-off marks depending on program competitiveness, number of applicants, and available admission slots. High-demand courses—such as Computer Science and Engineering—often require scores above the minimum. Applicants are advised to confirm final cut-off marks on the official NDA website after JAMB results are released. Estimated Departmental Cut-Off Marks (2025/2026) Based on trends from the 2024/2025 admission cycle. Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical): 210–250 Computer Science, Cyber Security: 180–220 Accounting, Economics, Management Sciences: 180–200 Political Science, Defence and Security Studies: 180–200 Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics: 180–200 ##How Much Are NDA School Fees for Freshers? For the 2025/2026 academic session, the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) charges ?50,000 as school fees for freshers. This fee covers tuition, accommodation, feeding, and other basic charges. However, this amount does not include additional mandatory payments such as the acceptance fee, departmental fee, faculty fee, and other course-specific levies. ##Acceptance Fee: A compulsory, non-refundable payment of ?20,000, required to confirm a candidate’s admission. ##Departmental and Faculty Fees: These vary by course and faculty. For example, the departmental fee for Engineering courses is ?10,000. The faculty fee for Social Sciences is ?5,000.
