##Admission Requirements
100-Level Entry (UTME)
You must have written the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME and chosen NAUB as your first choice.
Meet the minimum JAMB score (see “Cut-Off Mark” section below).
You must have passed at least five (5) subjects at O/Level (WAEC, NECO or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics (and other relevant subjects depending on your desired course) in not more than two sittings.
For specific courses there may be required subject combinations. For example: For the Building programme at NAUB: credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one of Biology/Technical Drawing/Economics/Geography/Building Construction/Land Surveying etc.
For Direct Entry (200 level) admission: Candidates typically need relevant A-Level, IJMB, HND, OND or equivalent in addition to the O/Level requirements.
##Post-UTME/Screening
After meeting the JAMB and O/Level requirements, eligible candidates are required to register for the Post-UTME/DE screening exercise of NAUB.
All O/Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System). Failure to upload can hamper your admission chances.
##Cut-Off Mark
The general JAMB minimum cut-off mark for NAUB for the 2025/2026 academic session is 180.
Some sources list a lower mark (e.g., 160) as eligibility, but the more authoritative announcements put 180 as the benchmark.
Note: While 180 is the general cut-off, individual departments may have higher cut-offs depending on competition. For example, some engineering or computing courses may require higher scores.

##Tuition / School Fees
Here are recent figures for NAUB’s school fees (undergraduate) for 2025/2026 (freshers and returning students) — this covers tuition and some levies. Additional fees (hostel, acceptance, etc.) apply.
For new students in Science/Engineering/Computing programmes: about ?75,000 per session.
For new students in Arts/Social Sciences/Management etc: about ?55,000 per session.
For returning students: Science/Engineering ~ ?59,500, Arts/Social ~ ?39,500.
Additional compulsory fees for new students include: Acceptance fee ?5,000; Library ?2,500; ICT ?5,000; Laboratory (for science) ?20,000; etc.
