Located within the southeastern part of Enugu State, Enugu South is one of the state’s notable local government areas. The administrative center is based in Uwani, specifically along Nnobi Street, within the city of Enugu. This local authority encompasses several neighborhoods and communities, including Akwuke, Amechi, Ugwuaji, Obeagu, Awkunanaw, and Amechi-Uwani.
